Nose :
Refined, powdery. At once honeyed (acacia) with saffron, fruits (grapefruit, peach) and floral (broom) notes, the nose is remarkably full. Allowed to breathe, fragrances of wax and rice pudding find perfect harmony. The aroma palette beams with maturity and freshness.
 
Palate :
Rich, complex. Rooty (gentian), rich (vanilla flan), spicy (ginger, cinnamon) and tropical (pineapple, banana), the attack raises the bar. Allowed to breathe, the palette of flavours evokes a rustic landscape of meadows, barley fields and pine forests.
 
Overall :
Long, distinguished. A handful of cloves and nutmeg bring considerable energy to the finish. Drawing out the tasting, the after-taste explores unctuously malty lands before becoming increasingly vanilla, salty and menthol.
